Jays flyttar R&D-avdelning till Stockholm

Den svenska hörlurstillverkaren Jays AB (publ) flyttar i dagarna sin R&D-avdelning till Stockholm.
Efter att år 2006 ha startats och fram till i dagarna drivits ifrån Västerås, lämnar Jays nu staden. Man förlägger nu sin utvecklingsverksamhet och sitt huvudkontor till Åsögatan 121 på Södermalm i Stockholm.

Jays ansluts till AktieTorget

AktieTorget har godkänt Jays AB (publ) för upptagande till handel. Första handelsdag är den 18 maj.
Jays AB (publ) utvecklar, designar och producerar hörlurar och utrustning för portabla mediaspelare. Vd i bolaget är Rune Torbjörnsen och styrelseordförande är Patrik Mellin.

Jays nyemission avslutad

Den svenska hörlurstillverkaren Jays AB (publ) har nu avslutat sin emission inför listningen på AktieTorget. Emissionen fulltecknades om 9,7 miljoner kronor vilket säkrar finansieringen av nästa steg i den pågående internationella expansionen. Den största nya investeraren är Aggregate Media Fund IV KB som investerat 2 Mkr i emissionen öronmärkta för mediaköp. Aktien kommer att listas på AktieTorget den 11 maj 2010.
Totalt har det i emissionen tecknats 1 600 000 nya aktier i bolaget och aktiekapitalet har ökats med 640 000 kr. Efter det att emissionen har registrerats hos Bolagsverket kommer antalet aktier att uppgå till 2 906 800 och aktiekapitalet till 1 162 720 kr.

Go10 Appointed to drive UK Sales for Jays
Swedish earphone manufacturer Jays AB (publ) have appointed specialist sales consultants, Go10, to support Jays in the hugely demanding UK market. Go10 have already secured listings within Harrods and Selfridges and several more are to follow.
In recent months Jays has experienced great exposure in the UK and this appointment will ensure that the UK customer base enjoy a high level of service. Go10 are specialists within the Consumer Electronics sector with extensive board level contacts with many top flight UK retailers.

Jays launches t-JAYS for active music fans
Swedish earphone manufacturer Jays is launching its second product of the Spring, t-JAYS, targeting the active music fan who demands better audio performance on the move. t-JAYS are offered in three variants, One, Two and Three, each with its own accessories and sound character.
t-JAYS is a sleek in-ear earphone with a warm and wide soundstage plus added practical benefits to suit active users. With an angled sound chamber optimised for a captivating and deep bass plus a warm midrange set in a wide soundstage t-JAYS are perfectly suited for long listening sessions. The 8 gram earphone is equipped with a dynamic speaker with a 10mm Neodymium element plus a strong detachable 60 or 130 cm Kevlar cord, for use with headsets, iPhone Adapters and Bluetooth solutions. The t-JAYS cable can be worn over the ear to ensure that it is comfortable and secure for sports performance, even with a helmet, thanks to its angled design. The cord has also been specially designed to sit closer to the body to provide a reduced burden on the ear.

Jays signs American distribution deal with Smart IT
Swedish earphone manufacturer Jays AB has signed an agreement with Smart IT USA LLC to distribute its full range to the American market.
Jays has developed a strong international reputation over the last 12 months thanks to a number of five star product reviews in key media, particularly in the US. This increased exposure has generated a surge in demand for Jays products across the Americas, especially in the US, the world’s toughest audio market. The deal with Smart IT aims to meet this demand head on.
